This urologist is an excellent provider with a special ability to communicate with clients. He is thorough and explains every step of the process when kidney lithotripsy is required. He also follows through in monitoring the patient after a procedure with KUB X Rays and MRI Imaging to detect further kidney changes that could impact the patient so that any changes needing additional treatment are discovered and resolved before they are extra problems to his patient.

I had an appointment with Dr. Veltman and raised several concerns I’d been having around pain. He was very dismissive, told me that these concerns were unrelated. In general, I felt like his responses to my questions were dismissive and condescending. When I asked him follow-up questions, he didn’t provide additional context for his reasoning or further information. It felt like he was rushing through the appointment, to be done in 5-10 minutes. I got the sense maybe if I’d been having very severe issues he might have been more attentive, but in my visit, he seemed completely unconcerned. I was disappointed with how my visit went and would not return to Dr. Veltman’s care.
