Dr. Yiming King, DDS

Had my root canal done and it was a very good experience. Dr king was knowledgeable, proficient and caring. The staff was also great and I even like the music in the office. I would recommend the office to anyone need a root canal.

Advanced Endodontics did unnecessary work on a tooth that was cracked "to the floor" and not saveable. This was apparently very obvious in the x-ray. The associate endo I heard say to Dr. King on the phone that she could see it was cracked to the floor and the exploratory didn't seem worth doing. He told her to do the exploratory anyway. She even asked me "are you sure you want to do this". I've never had this type of problem and didn't know what any of that meant. Until this event I had never even heard of an endodontist. I was scared not to do it. So I deferred to him as the "expert" . But I now know that it was an unnecessary procedure. The tooth needed to be extracted which was done by an oral surgeon a week later. I was also told by Dr. Kings office at the time that they accepted my dental insurance, now I'm getting notes from them that they don't participate. I think Dr. King is more concerned with billables then patients. I absolutely wouldn't trust him again.

Dr. King comes across as arrogant and really has no bed-side manor. While listening to him offer his "Professional Opinion" I became skeptical and decided before I even got out of the chair that I would not let him brush my teeth, let alone do two root canals. Another opinion later, and no root canal or "maybe you'll need two" in his words, needed to be done. So happy my instincts were right! Don't let him practice on you to gain the experience he truly needs. Seek a second opinion.

I trust Dr. King and would recommend him to anyone who needs a root canal.

Always punctual. Minimal pain. Very knowledgable man. Would recommend. Be aware that there is no elevator in the parking garage if you are handicapped or elderly, inform the attendant.

I had a terrible experience at Dr King's office. He was insensitive, rude and unprofessional. The staff was much friendlier and way more helpful than the Dr.

Excellent Endodontist. Brilliant man. Caring and professional. His office staff caring as well. Office is beautifully decorated with comfortable feeling. Immaculate very clean.
