Dr. Yitzchok Barry Kurtzer, MD

Over my lifetime I have run into problems with several doctors the basis of which was my unwillingness to accept rudeness and arrogance from anyone even should that person have the initials MD credited after their name. In my 25 years plus of being a patient of Dr. Kurtzer's I can honestly say that never have I been treated by him with anything other than politeness, consideration, attentiveness, compassion and respect. As far as the quality of his medical care, based on the care I have received over the years I would rate him an excellent doctor. Just about a year ago I was hospitalized and was in critical condition. Dr. Kurtzer was largely responsible along with a team of doctors for saving my life. The moral support and reassurances that Dr. Kurtzer gave to my husband and children were a great comfort to them and I thank him sincerely for that. Have I seen members of his office staff be unprofessional and rude at times. Yes. And I would say the same of every office staff I have… frequented in my life. I will also add that I have seen them having to deal with the rudest most demanding and inconsiderate of patients. I have found that you are most usually treated the way you treat others. I'm grateful for the day I first walked into his office and plan on remaining a patient as long as we are both around, which I hope will be for some time.

If you care about your health DO NOT go here. First off, its like pulling teeth dealing with the uneducated, unprofessional, miserable office staff. I've consistently had to call numerous times to have them comply with my records and prescriptions. They are rude and always have an attitude about being asked to do the very basis of their jobs. Secondly, the doctor is a hack. He is a pill pusher who did not listen to my actual concerns, and tried to pawn off some medication that he had samples of in the office. Come to find it was not covered by insurance and incredibly expensive. Not surprised if he's taking kick backs from that company. Then my insurance changed and could not be seen by him any longer , so I requested 1 month of my prescriptions to hold me over until I could see a new PCP. I was told that the Doctor believes "if I could pay for my pills I could pay out of pocket to see him to prescribe them". They have no compassion or tact. I'm absolutely disgusted.

Most compassionate, caring, always diagnosis everything right, takes you even if you lost your insurance and is amazing to veterens soliders ps religious so doesnt answer on weekend but when you call his service he gets back to you almost immediately.

Doctor was attentive ,thorough, and concerned with my healthcare needs. He listened attentively to my symptoms, was concerned with my discomfort, and was thorough with appropriate questions to target an accurate diagnosis, He was also nonverbally confident and verbally communicated his assurance that he would have me feeling well again in short order. Good Doctors are hard to find, this is a good one.

Dr k very nice and takes time and listens to you ...his medical asst Angie is the most carving so are some of the other girls but i always ask for her she helps put you at ease ...

Quite possibly the worst office staff I have ever had. Sarah in particular is Horribly rude. I was told I needed to see a specialist and the front desk refused to take down the number my insurance company gave me. I refuse to see them again.

DR KURTZER IS HE MOST IGNORANT DOCTOR THERE IS, THE STAFF IS WORSE THEN HE IS, THEY ANSWER THE PHONES VERY RUDE AND ARE NEVER PLEASANT, HE COMES IN THE ROOM FOR 1 MINUTE AND THEN WALKS OUT NEVER SPENDS ANY TIME WITH YOU OR DISCUSS YOUR CONCERNS AT ALL

His office staff are absolutely abhorrently rude, to the point of being downright nasty to you. On several occasions they have literally said that my health concerns and their forgetfulness in calling in prescriptions are "not their problem". Whose problem is it, then? They have caused me to go days, and one time a week, without vital prescriptions because they say they're calling it in and never do. Their one glowing receptionist has called me nasty names when i was being perfectly polite and simply asking her to do her job. My PCP had asked me more than once what I WANTED to be prescribed for bacterial and viral infections. "I'm not sure what's best". Huh? How did you graduate medical school? I'm not sure what it is about this place that attracts the most miserable, unkind, and incompetent people, but I have yet to have a positive experience with them. Dr. Kurtzer himself is intelligent and competent, but seems to have very bad taste in employees.
