Dr. Ylayaly Katherine Bianco, MD

If you want a high risk doctor that knows what they are doing, choose Dr Bianco. I was placed with her for very serious heart issues while I was pregnant and she made sure that my case was thoroughly checked and followed through. She was always available to talk and even called me from her personal phone a few times when I called the clinic for concern. She made sure that I was on track and that I didn’t have to be hospitalized while I was pregnant. Two months ago I had a successful delivery with my baby boy, and I can’t thank her enough for everything she did for me. She is truly experienced and knowledgeable and cares so much for her patients. Sorry to see so many bad reviews before but this was the complete opposite for me.

I’m not going to go into this long story because I could be here forever. But I was on the high risk unit at Stanford for some time and based on my experience there, if you have an option to see another doctor, do it. She is anxious, she is rude, lacks empathy. If she is the doctor on for that day let your nurse know you don’t want her involved in your care. They can put a note in your chart. The fellows practicing under her were far better.

We saw dr. Bianco while our dr. Was on vacation and it was a terrible experience. She didn’t know anything about our case and would give us answers to questions that were contradictory to our treatment plan and to what our dr. had told us. She had unclear communication and was very dismissive of our concerns.

I do not recommend this doctor at all. Bianco was ill-prepared for my 14 week prenatal appointment. She did not have my risk factor results, which was the whole point of the appointment. Her nurse knew more about next steps then she did. If you are high-risk and a busy professional - this Dr. is a waste of time. She never bothered to message results or follow-up either. Insurance still paid for the visit.
