Horrible. Doesn't listen, ignores peripheral symptoms, ended up in the hospital on an IV, released me before I could eat or drink anything by mouth, didn't acknowledge or address bloody stools.

Went to this doctor in 2015. Told him if i could have hpylori and he told me hpylori was nothing to worry about unless i had lymphoma. Which made no sense. Anyways i went in for an endoscopy to see what was wrong with me. After my endoscopy I scheduled an appointment with him. He said all they found was gastritis and i asked him what can i do im already on ppis and is there any diet i can follow to help me because i was still having issues and was underweighted. Also he didnt even acknowledge my bowel issues. He said no you have nothing and didn’t offer any more tests and just sent me away. My own primary doctor had to do his job run tests and diagnosed me with ibs and gerd. Then i was diagnosed with a esophageal dysmotility. So yes there was something wrong with me but he didn’t not do his job. Do not go to this Gi specialist.

It took 4 months from the time my referral was approved to the time I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Patel. They made me do the leg work in getting the communication between them and the insurance because they did not want to wait more than a minute on the phone. I had to make them do it by waiting on hold myself. When I got there, the staff barely took any time beyond the basics. In the room, Dr. Patel stormed in, did not even set down his laptop or look at me. Asked a few questions and left before I could say anything. Tried to call him afterwards regarding the medication for my Crohn's Disease getting filled as I ahd run out and he and his staff refused to work with me, stating they wanted a colonoscopy first. Waited 2 more months and had the procedure. Now, they won't fill my medication and I am out. They do not care about their patients. The office manager does nothing but stone walls. I have had to go to my primary care doctor and getting interim monthly fills… so I stay out of the hospital and they are working to get me in with a different GI doctor who actually cares. Seriously considering filing a complaining both with the insurance and the medical board about this "doctor."

This dr wanted my paper work from other dr to give me. A diagnosis they wanted to go off paper work that is Wat they told me I said I needed someone to help me and find out what was wrong with me but without paper work he couldn't tell me what was wrong with me and he is a GI dr that is suppose to look to see what is wrong not base it off of paper work and his wife is the office manager and that conflict of interests and I have reported them to medical board and my insurance they are all rude u can't even talk to them I couldn't have an appointment with out my paper work I strongly say that u do not I repeat do not use this man they will not help u they will just go by what ur paper work from other Drs say
