Dr. Yogesh Gambhirlal Shah, MD

The only one visit I had with this doctor gave me the impression that he is caring towards his patients. It was a sensitive time for us and he took time to answer our questions without making us feel rushed. He even gave us a hope to look forward to the next appointment which is important as the two weeks that a pregnant woman has to wait for her next ultrasound appointment is the longest time of her life and she needs to keep calm during that time. I am rating him based on this visit.

I am a little taken aback by the reviews about Dr. Shah. My experience with him has been wonderful. I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes quite early in my pregnancy and found Dr. Shah to not only be knowledgeable but extremely caring when it came to answering all of my questions/concerns. During my ultrasounds I found him to take extra time to make sure that my baby was healthy and he had EXCELLENT bedside manners. Personally, I would highly recommend him, especially to nervous moms who have a lot of questions. He definitely put me at ease when it came to the health of my baby girl and took a personal interest in getting to know me and my husband.

He was rude and very unprofessional during both of my appointments. He said hurtful things, and just has awful bedside manners! He made me cry the last appointment. He couldn't even remember the medication he prescribed me the previous appointment.

Dr. Shah did my first prenatal ultrasound and I will never go back to him. He was rude and unprofessional. He really needs to work on his bedside manner. He repeatedly spoke with nurse in medical terms and ignored my questions about having polycystic ovaries, which I found out (through the web!) is kind of an important issue in pregnancy. He insulted my 5 year old in a hurtful, nasty way about needing braces. I mean, who does that to a five year old!
