Dr. Yoh Sawatari, MD

This doctor is absolutely horrendous. I've had an appointment scheduled since last September 2022 for March 9th and a week before my appointment they called to cancel due to the doctor not seeing any new patients since January of this year. If they've known this since January why not call me and let me know of this? I cannot see a regular dentist, I can only see a oral surgeon because of my blood clotting condition and it's extremely difficult to find a doctor willing to work on my teeth because I bleed so heavily. Super unprofessional and unreasonable.

Three benign cysts were discovered deep within my jaw and surgery was imminent. My jaw was un danger of breaking which it eventually did unfortunately. I was told by my dentists in Aventura that the only place to go was Jackson Memorial. I met Dr. Sawatari and immediately felt I could be myself and tell him of my difficult circumstances. I began to cry uncontrollably as I told him of the troubles surrounding my life. He understood immediately, and promised he would make this situation "comfortable" for me. I'm not the most religious man, nut I'll look anyone straight in the face and proclaim that Dr. Yoh Sawatari is heaven sent to this planet to make a positive difference in the lives of his patients. He not only saved my life, but my future too. To him I'm just another patient to take care of...to me, he is my friend and there is nothing I would not do for him if he ever needs me. God bless this impeccable, refined, and brilliant surgeon.

Dr. Sawatari is an outstanding surgeon and not only is he outstanding as a person, he is outstanding as a caring, friendly doctor who shares all the information with you and explains everything you need to know. I recommend him without hesitation.

just had all my wisdom teeth extracted with him...and I must say, I have not felt an ounce of pain. Mind you, I have been placing ice packs, eating smooth foods, and did as I was instructed. He made me feel really comfortable prior to surgery, because I am terrified of any dental work. So glad I chose him to perform my surgery.
