Dr. Yolanda Maria Burzynski, MD

This doctor is what every parent dreams of. She spends tons of time with the family...not just the patient. She's there for you as the parent as much as she is for the child as the patient. She's very thorough and is an absolute world of knowledge. She really listens to what your feelings and concerns are and addresses every single one till you're satisfied. Even if it takes an hour!The down side to this is, you tend to have to wait a good bit of time to see her since she gives this same care to all of her patients!On top of all that, she calls personally with test results. She's very easy to get a hold of and her nurse Liz is just as great as she is!The other doctor in her practice is Dr. Haine and he is a great doctor as well so I never think twice if we have to see him for a sick appointment. My children just adore both doctors!If you are the kind of parents who needs that extra time with a doctor and don't mind waiting a little longer for that quality, Dr. Burzynski is for you!
