Very attentive caring doctor

I have been a patient of Dr. Co for 10 years now. I wouldn't change Her for anyone else.

I will say that my first appointment was great but now I know better. She's great for writing referrals but never getting it right.Always late for patients. Never can I get the receptionist on the phone. I called once as I really needed to get in that day, after 12 attempts to get through on the phone,the receptionist was not going to give me an appointment.. Now this was important as I was scheduled for major surgery and needed to be well. It was only after I told her I would go to an emergency facility because Dr Co could not see me she mysteriously had an appointment. My time was wasted.I was sent to another prize of a doctor he to wasted valuble time and had to wait 3 1/2 weeks before I could get an appointment! It would have been a nice gesture if Dr Co would have called the doctor and discussed my case with him first? He was not set up to treat my condition.Each apointment with Dr. Co you could see she did not have a clue what you were there for and her questions just verified… her absence in your health and previous appointment history...scary. She does not return phone calls from patients. Many delays in faxing important tests results to my surgeon and on more than 1 occasion had to call Dr. Co's staff to find out where they were including a few days before I was set for surgery. I am so done with this incompetant practice!

I really found a great Dr. My first visit with Dr. Co was one of care and she really took time with my exam .She also answered all of my questions and was easy to talk to. Her receptionist, Maricela was both friendly, professional and very knowledgable with insurance. She is a real asset to the office! Alma (hope I got her name right) is Dr. Co's nurse. She is the type of person who if you are feeling down has a way of making you feel better by her caring manner. She really listened and took notes in her computer. Alma was very friendly and professional. I would reccommend Dr. Co's office to anyone!!!
