Summary
I have been in the counseling field for 18 years working with clients ranging from child/adolescent to older adults. I have a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling and earned Doctoral level studies in Organizational Psychology. My main areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, mood and personality disorders. I enjoy working with my clients to assist them with gaining more independence and autonomy in their lives, leading to a more productive and enjoyable life. I use a mixture of counseling schools of thought and techniques (i.e., CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered, Solution Focused, Reality-Based, to name a few) with my clients in order to focus on the entire person. This type of therapy has been successful with many of my previous clients and they have gone on to lead much improved lives and well being. I'd love to work along side you to develop a plan of action that will move you towards a more purposeful, autonomous and fulfilled life.
