Dr. Yolanda Tun-Chiong, DO

I haven't been seen her for 2-3 years because of how busy it has gotten in her office. Every time I try to book an appointment I have to wait 1-2 months. I actually use to be her father's patient before he referred me to her. Unfortunately, there is no way to book an appointment with her. They consider me as a new patient I haven't seen her in 2-3 years and they aren't seeing new patients. I tried to book appointment online through her website which didn't work. I was held on the phone for 20 mins just to be told I cannot even book an appointment because I'm a "new" patient. I am disappointed.

I never see the Doctor....all I see is her PA. Not sure what the point of going to her if all I see is her physician assistant.

My husband, kids and I all see Yolanda. I actually followed her from Betances, which is the 280 Henry St address above, where she initially worked. She now holds her own practice at 128 Mott Street, Suite 202. She has had her own practice for many years now, and I'd like to add that it's extremely successful. She is so caring, compassionate, and doesn't rush. I really appreciate the fact that she returns my calls right away. She's a true gem and my family and I love her.

I can honestly tell you she has been the best pediatrician I have come across, as parents we should not only look for dr's who are precise in their findings but also have that connection with us as parents and that are children are comfortable as well, Dr. Yolanda has given me that. I had moved away several years ago but I'm back and I'm glad she's about to be in my life again. Thankful for my children.

I recommend all of my friends to see Dr. Yolanda and every one of them adore her as much as I do. She makes you feel at ease no matter the conversation. She is very invested in your issues and talks to you at length about her thoughts. She has given me her cell phone and email address when a health concern became a much larger problem. I highly recommend her.

At the beginning Yolanda was attentive, but then faded. She did not bother explaining the test report. Instead said, "You can look at it yourself." She needs to lighten up.

Dr. Tun-Chiong was very professional, asked me a variety of questions (my first time) to get my patient history and helpful.Also the practice is quite up to date with the latest in Medical technology efficiencies - I only had to sign two things relating to liability, and the rest of the patient history was filled out very quickly by the Doctor as she asked me questions, which she then put into the system via her laptop which was right there. Also they scanned my insurance card, which was then instantly available to her, and I saw her looking up a referral doctor and sorting by people who took my insurance. Very cool. Overall very happy. I think she will be my main doctor. BTW they currently only take check or cash for co-pays, but apparently when they move to a new facility across the floor they will then accept debit/credit.

Dr. Tun-Chiong is fabulous! She listens to me, offers her sound expertise, relies on the facts provided by all lab tests and does not make assumptions based on appearance alone. She recalls past visits and refers to information discovered during the present office visit. She highlights what I do well for health choices in my life and offers constructive comments for improvements to make. She is the best!
