Dr. Yong Hui Ahn, MD

Since Dr. Ahn had joined the VIP group her attention and practice have improved 100%

Dr Ahn was my doctor for many many years, and I would recommend her to anyone including my own family. She is a professional in every sense of the word, She is caring, compassionat, She was always there for me when I needed her. My concerns were her concerns! She was always spot on with the diagnosis and ready with the correct treatment. Only because of insurance issues, she is no longer my doctor. However if that ever changes I will be back to her in the blink of an eye.

I saw Dr. Ahn for multiple problems I was having. She always seemed hurried and her solution to everything is to write multiple prescriptions, regardless of side effects and your concerns. If you complain or questions side effects her solution is to give you more prescriptions to counter them. She gave no follow-up plan nor did she seem interested in having me return at all. Her nurse, Emily, is scary! Very rude and negative. We often had the feeling that Emily rules your treatment. You must leave a message with Emily regardless of your problem and she talks to Dr. Ahn and Emily calls you back with her own interpretation of what Dr Ahn has told her. Dr. Ahn never returns calls, it is always Emily. It probably doesn't matter because neither seem very interested in you as a patient. Dr. Ahn makes diagnosis by looking at you and is often wrong, but does not like to be questioned when you don't get better and something else is suggested as the cause. Definately would not refer this… doctor or office to anyone I cared about.

I've been seeing Dr. Ahn for a few years now, and I like her as a person but I'm not fully satisfied with her as a doctor. Part of the problem is the clinic, I have seen 2 other doctors and one PA there and no one has been very helpful. The receptionists are rude, and the nurses are almost all unfriendly (Emily is sometimes downright scary, although she is quite a capable nurse.) I feel like Dr. Ahn is not the best listener. She is nice, but she doesn't actually address the problems I'm having, and she often seems to find a way to try and push a popular new drug that isn't suited for the situation. Does she get kickbacks? I don't understand the motivation behind pushing drugs I don't need and not listening very well. She seems to try a little harder than some of the others in the clinic (Standteiner doesn't seem to care, and Killpack is an egomaniac.) but I always leave unsatisfied. Also, they're all really slow to follow up on anything, if they ever do.

Excellent physician w/professional nursing staffI have been a patient of Dr. Ahns since 1998. I have found her care to be extremely professional and personal. Regardless of the demands on her time (which are often high) she spends quality time with me and ensures my care and concerns have been thoroughly addressed. On the times when I have had to contact her nursing staff, the staff and especially her nurse Emily, have always been prompt in returning my phone calls and thorough in addressing my needs.I highly recommend Dr. Ahn.

I have seen dr ahn a number of times but finally had to change to a different office because it was always so difficult to get appointments with her. The office staff were rude when I called and the feeling I always had when I dealt with her nurse was upsetting. I felt as if I was an annoyance by being there. I have had to wait for lengthy periods of time on several occasions (more than 1 hr) and only saw the doctor for a few minutes. Dr Ahn is nice but busy.
