I had a kidney robotic surgery for which Dr Zhou was apparently involved. My surgeon was with Urology Associates Lone Tree and the facility was Advent Health Littleton. I have no idea by whom Dr Zhou was engaged for my surgery and what his role really was. Anyways I had to sign a lot of paperwork prior to the surgery and one piece of paper I got was from Citisurgery LLC. In discussing costs with my insurance and hospital before surgery they said that most costs should be covered by insurance. However after my surgery I realized that Dr Zhou who operated under Citisurgery LLC wouldn’t submit the claim through insurance and the paper that had me sigh said I was responsible for payment. On contacting the hospital and urology associates they had no idea about this and left me to fight this on my own. Insurance could help either since Citisurgery refused to work with insurance. Eventually I had to pay the surgery cost out of my pocket. So BEWARE - if you deal with Dr Zhou or Citisurgery… LLC pay extra attention to the papers you sign, else you will be left paying a huge bill later out of pocket.
