Dr. Tan is hands down the absolute BEST psychiatrist I've had since Dr. [ ]. She is kind, thoughtful, patient, willing to learn more about my multiple chronic health conditions, and above all, understanding. She does not push medications at you, she researches interactions with other current medications that I'm currently on, and constantly reminds me to ""feel better first"" because I will often debate back and forth with myself before taking an as needed anxiety medication to prevent an panic attack. I often feel shame, and she reminds me that there is absolutely nothing shameful in feeling better first. I can't even put into words how much I appreciate her time and care.
