Dr. Yoon Jeong Chang

I have been a patient of Dr. Chang's for 20 years. Seven years ago I went in for my annual visit. All woman hate that one day of the year! Dr. Chang checked my neck and felt a lump on my thyroid, she sent me to a specialist immediately. All of my friends were amazed that my GYOB found the lump in my neck. I had a 28 oz tumor on my thyroid!! Thank God it was not cancerous. Doctor Chang always takes the time to talk to me and I know she truly cares about her patients. She is very kind and personable. On Sept. 24 th I went back for my yearly visit again! Dr. Chang felt a lump on my breast. She did not hesitate to send me to a specialist. The lump Dr. Chang felt dissolved when I went to the specialist, but an ultrasound was preformed. I have a 2 cm lump on my right breast. It can not be felt by a physical examination. I have stage 1 breast cancer. If it were not for the fast thinking and the caring heart of Dr. Chang, I would not know that I have cancer. She saved my life, with the help… of God. Jennifer

Dr. Chang suggested me to have a total hysterectomy of my uterus even though all my tests came negative (two biopsies, US, etc). She only insisted in hysterectomy. Her only option was to remove my uterus and my ovaries. I talked with two other doctors and they gave me different options. When I told her that I needed more time for taking a decision, she got angry and said me: Go to see another doctor, and good luck !, then she gave me all my papers with a bad manner. If you are looking for a compassionate, supportive and humane doctor, with great bedside manner, then Dr. Chang is NOT the right doctor for you.

Dr.Chang is a wonderful doctor. She takes time answering all of my questions. She makes me feel comfortable. I have seen her for years now. Her Medical Assistant, Randi, is great too. Randi is friendly, she returns my calls quickly and explains wait times when I am there. Front desk staff are friendly. Dr. Chang and Randi are the best. I recommend Dr. Chang to anyone!!

Dr. Chang is an awesome, compassionate doctor. She put me at ease and thorougly explained the procedure I was about to have. Wait time is long , but I would expect that because she sits and take the time to make sure you understand diagnosis. I would highly recommend her to others. She cares. I have had no complications from my surgery and I am very grateful I finally had it done. Randi her assistant is awesome as well. She follows through and is very knowledgeable in what she does. Forever grateful to them both.

Dr. Chang is wonderful. I had major surgery which she performed. Everything went as she had indicated and I'm came though with no issues.

I first saw Dr. Yoon Chang when I was pregnant with my daughter. I was high risk because of my age and because of the multiple surgeries I had prior to remove fibroids. She reffered me to also see a specialist also. I was having ultra sounds every month along with seeing her. She was more connected to my care than the specialist. I was hospitalized often because of complications like dialating and having early contractions starting at 6months. I would always get sent home by the specialist saying I'm ok to go home. Everytime I went home I would have to come back. This happend about 4 times. The last time Dr. Chang ordered potassium sulfate and 2 steroids shots to quickly develope my daughter lungs just incase she came early. The PS to stop contractions. The good old specialist I won't mention his name advise to stop the magnesium sulfate right before 1 bag was finished and 2 bags were ordered. He then said the other steroid shot wasnt needed. And he ordered my discharge right then… and there. He said there was no need for me to be in the hospital. Dr. Chang disagreed with him and finished all meds and gave me the 2 steroid shots. After all meds were done, then Dr. Chang said she would follow the specialist orders which she didn't agree on sending me home. But the specialist is suppose to know best. When I got my clothes on and was waiting for my discharge papers. My water broke. Yeah my water broke before Dr. Chang could leave the women's center. I guess the specialist didn't know best. Because of her call to finish my meds. My baby came premature at 33 weeks but she was able to breath on her own and didn't have any complications. Thank you Dr. Chang. I love you.
