Dr. Young Hyun Pak

Dr. Pak should NOT be in the business of treating children. He has no bedside manner, is rude and wants to rush through dental work on a TODDLER! My son was sedated for dental treatment and strapped down to a bed. He seems to want to rush through the treatment and when I asked him to stop because my son sounded like he was choking he was very rude and didn't stop. I would never go back! Stay away if you have small children this guy is extremely cold and rude! The only reason he is getting a star is because I cannot post without entering a value.

Dr. Pak is great with both of my children. My oldest is petrified of doctors and is not an easy patient for anyone. Dr. Pak goes out of his way to make her appointment as easy as he can make it. His staff is supportive and kind. I would recommend him highly.

My daughter hated going to the dentist until we found the smile club. They made her feel so comfortable and understanding she actually talk about going back. I would recommend them 100% It’s very hard to find an amazing dentist & also an amazing staff! You usually find one or the other, BUT never both!

Dr. Pak doesnt have any patience with kids. He doesn't explain anything to either the parent or the child. He drilled my sons tooth without novacane. My son freaked from feeling the drilling. Then the doctor came back in the room and tried to do more which obviously my son didn't want any part of. He is very rude and asked if my child had ADHD or autism. You are a joke Dr. Pak and I hope others reconsider before going to him.

The most memorable experience were my kids that haven't gone to the dentist before doing their cleanings without any crying or screaming. Dr Pak does know what he is doing and I would recommend him for his professionalism explaing things in detail so you can understand, but also technique and experience in the field. He told me he taught at Hackensack Hospital for dentistry. I would recommend him to my friends and would choose him again! Thanks Dr Pak!! ;)

I would never recommend Dr. Pak to anyone I know. He has no bedside manner and does not know how to deal with children. He walked into the room wearing a surgical mask that he never removed. He didn't even introduce himself before starting to work on my son. A few minutes later, he blurts out "these need to be CUT" referring to my son's gums. He could have used more child-friendly language. My son obviuosly became very anxious. When I asked why the gums needed to be "treated", he responded, "don't you see them." Then he got up and left the room without a word. His assistant had to inform us that the doctor was done. This man should not be in pediatrics or the medical field for that matter.
