Dr. Huang is a good pulmonologist, however his staff is unprofessional and rude. On several occasions over the course of six months they failed to order pharmaceuticals, labs and tests that the doctor requested, requiring multiple follow-up calls. Admin/scheduling staff (especially the heavy-set woman with glasses) is condescending and impolite when asked for clarification, or questions about upcoming appointments, or negotiating the system to get tests, etc. The patient portal is particularly problematic, requiring an inordinate amount of follow-up, and encountering even more rude behaviour. For this reason I unfortunately cannot recommend Dr. Huang, until he gets a handle on the admin staff’s inconsiderate behaviour and inappropriate public relations.

My only visit with Dr Huang was positive. He answered my questions and seamed to be concerned about by issues. It is to bad that there is not a minus star rating, because that is what I would give to some of the office staff. Getting a return phone call is almost impossible of not so. Part of thier phone message says something about not to leave multiple messages because it will delay things. If they would have the courtesy to return a call, one would not have to leave multiple messages.

I’m a patient of 9 months with Dr Huang. Having breathing problems after Sepsis Dr Huang automatically gave me every test in the book. Nothing was missed. Never a shoulder shrug or disinterest. He’s very detailed even scrolls CT Scan with you. I feel so blessed being under his care because he does care which filters down to his pleasant caring dedicated staff.

Dr huang is a great person an a good pulmonologist had him 2 for years. Awesome doctor he gives good diagnosis and friendly.

I have been going to Dr. Y Huang for about 4 years. He is extremely conciencious, professional and empathetic. He has also treated my husband and both of us found Dr. Huang to be one of our favorites. The time he spends with you is never rushed, he is concerned about your condition and takes the time to explain and show us in MRI's the areas of concern. We feel very lucky to have found such an excellent Doctor.

Dr. Huong was: * Attentive * Up to date in knowledge * Professional * Very approachable * Is a partner with patients-showed my husband and I current cat scans (on the computer screen) * His credentials are outstanding * Excellent teacher * My LPN associate and friend, retired from VA recommended him * I observed his attributes at the LPN's prior visit with him * Office has excellent preparation-asked about prior testing and facility and assured CAT scan/lungs 9-2011 and chest were available prior to my visit * My outside medical records from Immunologist were copied promptly * Outstanding!

Dr. Huang has been treating my mother since she was hospitalized at St. Joes Hospital this past Spring. Dr. Huang's bed side manner and professionalism are nothing short of stellar. He did not rush us through the appointment as most doctors seem to do these days. He listen carefully and provided advice. We highly recommend this physician.
