Yuan-Chi Lin, MD

Yuan-Chi Lin, MD, MPH, is director of Acupuncture Services and a senior associate in perioperative anesthesia and pain medicine in the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital, as well as an associate professor of anaesthesia (pediatrics) at Harvard Medical School. He specializes in pediatric anesthesiology, pain medicine, and medical acupuncture, with expertise in integrative approaches to pain management for infants, children, and adolescents undergoing surgery or living with chronic pain conditions. Dr. Lin earned his medical degree from Kaohsiung Medical University School of Medicine in Taiwan and completed pediatric residency training at The Ohio State University, followed by anesthesia residency training at the University of Pennsylvania and fellowships in pediatric anesthesia at Boston Children’s Hospital and pain medicine at Stanford University.
