Dr. Yue Shen, MD

She doesn’t even prescribe birth control. She doesn’t listen to ANY of my concerns. She’s rude and wants to leave the room as soon as possible.

I’ve never gone online to write a bad review about a doctor, but I feel this is warranted so that i can hopefully prevent others from going through what i did. I went to Dr. Shen for my first (and last) visit because of hip pain, and left thinking I had a chronic, incurable condition (which I didn’t have). She was extremely uncompassionate and her delivery of her “diagnosis” was awful. She spent very little time with me and was unconsolling in every way. I immediately switched primary care providers.

I was treated less Than human after going in with extreme lower back pain. Finally after fighting to get an MRI I had a severe disc herniation L5-S1. Was denied anything to help with severe excruciating pain. Long story short after she had received a “ high priority” MRI results never even called me. I finally got an appointment with a Neuro Surgeon & was in surgery within 24 hours. She also knew my blood pressure was 160/ 110 highest it’s ever been she just told me it was due to the pain. I’m not a dr but if you know your patient is in that much pain and you have the MRI in front of you and yet you still choose to let patient suffer. You are a horrible dr . People stay away!! & I forgot she would never even return a phone call . worst 4 months of my life

I was going to have a pap done and was extremely nervous. I asked her, "Am I going to be ok? I'm nervous." Dr. Chen got angry with me and yelled, "Are you a virgin! Are you going to do it or not!" I've never been treated this way ever in my life. It was very unprofessional. If she doesn't like dealing with people she should not be in this profession. I will NEVER go see her again!
