Dr. Yuelei Dong

Dr. Dong reminds me every month to go to Labcorp in time, so I can get my prescription filled. I really appreciate that because sometimes I forget.

This is the worst clinical encounter I have ever witnessed. Very cold and poker faced all the time. She asks the same questions over and over and does not listen... no bedside manners at all. Questions the management of previous psychiatrists and rushes through history taking. Does not take detailed patient history, is not empathic, and does not engage the patient in therapeutic decision making.

I was able to have a tele-psych appointment with Dr. Dong while I was in quarantine in Europe. You can imagine how stressful it can be. The most valuable session I ever had. I felt connected, grounded and well supported. It calmed me down, and I did not panic during the crisis.

Great psychiatrist I have seen. She is very patient, and her accuracy in diagnosis and medication management is superb. She is kind, warm, and caring. Nevertheless, we are lucky to have Dr. Dong in our living area.

I have never experienced the kind of ridiculousness that came with Yuelei Dong. It is truly unfortunate that a person so asinine gets to prescribe medicine to mental health patients. I had a tele visit with this woman and i'm not sure what about me was such an affront to her, that she behaved in the manner in which she did. She was rude, combative and very disdainful of me. She was irritated at me for reasons known to her only, seeing as it was my first visit with her. Yuelei Dong could not coherently explain what drug she was prescribing. I had to google it. Perhaps i too should have a medical degree since incompetent people like her get to have one. I would roam the streets stark raving mad before i subject myself to an appointment with her again. Steer clear of her. She has no idea what she is doing.

Dr. Dong is very caring, compassionate and took good care of me during my second pregnancy. I suffered bad mood swings before. She is kind, extremely competent and has helped me become a much better mother.

She does not have any respect to a patient, does not listen, and cannot even change medicine if it does not work. She said that Prazosin is only medication for nightmare, and instead of change it increase the dosage. FYI: Initially, Prazosin decreases blood pressure.

Dr. Dong saved my career. The medication helps a lot and I just got promoted! She is the best and incredibly smart.

Dr. Dong is considerate, caring and compassionate. The medication she has me on really works! I can not thank her enough for turning my life around. She also treated other members of our family.
