Yulia Abair, PMHNP

Yulia Abair, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner. She holds a BSN from Valparaiso University, an MSN from Indiana University, and a post-master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from IUPUI. With more than four years of clinical experience in outpatient psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, and emergency psychiatry, Yulia specializes in the assessment and treatment of mood disorders, PTSD, and anxiety, and leverages her dual certification to provide integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

Yulia approaches each patient with compassion, focused attention, and strong advocacy, prioritizing whole-person well-being rather than solely treating presenting symptoms. She is experienced in comprehensive assessment, medication management, crisis stabilization, and collaborative care planning, and empowers patients through careful listening, education, and shared decision-making.
