Dr. Yuliya Krumova Markova-Acevedo, MD

Very poor bedside manner. Did not listen and talked over me. With 2 other doctors and a nurse present that agreed she was very rude and judgmental wasn’t knowledgeable about my condition and stated bluntly that I’m not in pain because I’m on my phone. Would never want her as a doctor assigned to my care again EVER!!

I would have given her 0 stars, but I had to give one star to write the review.This woman talks out both sides of her mouth. She tells me that the longer that I am in the hospital, the better my chances for a speedier recovery. After she says this, she complains about the fact that I don't have any insurance to cover my medical care. I couldn't be released from the hospital until I had oxygen at home. I couldn't afford an oxygen concentrator- Dr. Markova made a snide remark. She said that maybe some one is giving them away, and I could get one for free for Christmas. She wasn't saying this to be helpful, as there are no agencies that I know of that do this. She also did not mention any agencies that help people who cannot afford oxygen. She needs to keep the snide remarks to herself and concentrate on taking care of her patients. She is by far one of the WORST doctors that I have ever had the misfortune of encountering.

I have never seen a doctor tell patient " you are dying, and you should go to die in these few days...." that is no ethics and no bedside manner
