Dr. Yura Kay Williams, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Williams for over 20 years! She has been an outstanding professional in her field and helps me with treatment that meets my needs specifically. Prior to finding Dr. Williams I had been treated by several doctors and providers. I never had any input in my treatments, i felt as though I was just a customer, not a human being. She brings a personal touch that has kept me healthy for a long time!

She pushes drugs, gets you hooked and then takes them away if you don't make appointments.

Dr. Williams is such a nice doctor. I was very comfortable & confident in her. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Dr Williams took the time to make sure I understood everything we discussed. I am so thankful I was able to be seen by her. Thanks to her leaving her office, today I’ve felt more hope & positivity in my future then I have in a long time.

Dr. Williams is a wonderful doctor. I am so grateful to have found her.

This doctor may be a good mental health doctor to some but when it comes to helping cannabis patients this practice is a joke. You can pay 175 to 200 for the year or pay her every three months about 100 bucks. So if your looking for something that insurance will pay for kool. But her prices are not for the patient she’s a Psych doctor. Why would a person with arthritis come see her every 3 months for a follow up? ???????

Normally I would not do a review or complaint publically because i do not like confrontation however, dr Williams is the most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever met. I came to her to seek medical help for depression and aniexty and without actually listening she prescribed medicine. Okay fine, I tried the medicines and they did not agree with me at all. When I told her she UPed the dosage. Then introduced me to medical cannibis for my RA. Great, it helps a lot. However. She charged me for an appointment and only certified me for 3months. She told me it was a LAW to be re certified every three months. After finding out this was not correct it was very frustrating. After my husband leaving a review previously on google. She called me from her PERSONAL cell phone to question me about my husbands review and asked that I have him take it down. That is when she told me to find a new doctor if he would not. She was unprofessional. She did not listen to me or my wishes at all. I refuse to… take benzos and she insist on me taking them along with pushing opioids. She is all around a terrible doctor. I would not recommend her practice. I bet if you lined up her patients in a line they would all have the exact same prescriptions. I don’t know how she can even process every patient considering they go in and out every 4-5 min. It’s a sweatshop there. There dr Williams, give me a call about that?!?

Dr Williams has been a godsend to my husband and myself. She is the 5th psychiatrist we have seen for anxiety, panic attacks and depression. Finally a doctor that didn’t try to change things all at once. Improvement is something we are finally seeing. Very reassuring that life can get better! Thank you!

She's registered to certified you for Medical Cannabis yet she'll tell you to take opioids before you do cannabis to see if it works, yet she's a psychiatrist and she prescribes Suboxone for opioid addiction. That's an oxymoron right there. Her license should be yanked. She'll charge you $200 for only a 3 month certification, which every other doctor gives you a year, and makes you come back every quarter at $100 for another three months. Not only that, she'll make you get a written letter from your doctor. What a SCAM. I've told this to the dispensary I go to and they were appalled. You'd be better off driving across town to another doctor.

Unfortunately I've seen a few "doctors" & not 1 ever has been as caring, compassionate but still professional. When we talk it's as if we are friends or she truly knows me. She's awesome. Being able to have a doctor like this. Makes her able to give you the absolute best care you deserve!
