Dr. Yuri Yakovlevich Khibkin, MD

had one of the most bizzare experiences I've ever had with a doctor when I saw this guy, and I've seen a lot of doctors. After I made an offhand remark about how bad our medical system was, he spent almost five minutes (most the appointment) ranting about how bad healthcare systems were in other countries and how comparatively lucky I was to have the US system, impatiently asked me a few questions about previous pain management treatments I had had, and swept out of the room after telling me I had two hours to pass a urine test. I have no idea what was going on with him, but I didn't go back to find out.

Dr. Khibkin spends a lot of time in the room discussing my care and options. He was very nice and knew how to help me. He really cares about his patients.

I gave him 1star because of a couple different incidents, since then my experience has changed for the better! He discussed the issues in a very professional manner with me, to help the issues. I’ll will post another review in the near future.

I have metal, bone grafts, holding my body together!!! And frustrating to sit in his place of practice listening to him and a drug rep talk about shots and the free vacations and dinners etc, for 3+ hrs I’m waiting!!! Then he goes on vacation without seeing or writing the prescriptions his patients need! So Iv been over a week without my meds that Iv been on for the last 15yrs. Iv thought about self medicating with street drugs because he doesn’t have any bedside manner or compassion for his patients!!!!!! It’s all about shots, because he’s a anesthesiologist!!!’

Definitely someone that I would refer to.

If there is ever a need for a pain doctor. Dr. Khibkin is the one
