Dr. Yvanne Moscoso Berryer, MD

Horrific experience. She was my OBGYN at Miami Holistic Birth Center. She did not give me a trial of labor when I arrived, instead within 30 minutes of looking at me, she denied me access to the center, despite being in active labor. I was three hours away from giving birth and she sent away stating i was days away. She instructed me to go home and take a Benadryl. The experience with her was traumatic.

The waiting is short she has very little paciente

I did not have a great experience at Dr.Berryers office. For one they often left out candy for the patients which was nice and courteous but it was always covered with ants. Also, her staff is very unorganized. When you try to call for assistance every person you talk to gives u a different answer and cannot recall what the last person told you and also there aren't any notes. They often have troubles with their phone service and you are unable to get in contact with anyone because their phones are constantly down. I find this disturbing because when you are pregnant and have an emergency you can't get in contact with anyone. And my last concern is the wait time. On numerous occasions I had to wait an hour plus to be seen on average, on one appt I had to wait a hour and a half to be seen. After being called I had to take a sugar test which u had to drink something and wait an hour . My question was why wouldn't you give it to me when I first came instead of me having to wait an hour… and a half to be called then wait an additional hour for the test. Overall the doctor is great but the organizational skills and professionalism is nonexistent.

By miracle I found Dr. Berryer, by word of mouth just when I was going to give up and have the baby at home. The Doctors here had over packed waiting rooms, rude stuff, heard they were C-Section happy, but the second I stepped into her office I knew this was the place for me. It seems like a hole in the wall, but it is not the outer package that counts it is the inside of the doctor's heart. And this woman has heart. There was a wait but at least you had a place to sit ( and that's very important when you're carrying) Every place I visited there were patients standing in hallways from overbooking or something. And for me that was unacceptable. She was very thorough and knowledgeable. I felt totally safe the whole rest of my pregnancy, even in delivery. I would recommend her to everyone.

The hours of operation are not convenient. M-Th only with appts available 10AM to 3PM closed often 1-2 hours for lunch. Appt times are also often rescheduled at the patient's inconvenience. Staff has also directed patients to the wrong labs for testing and the patient gets billed due to noncoverage from their insurance. Facility and equipment need to be updated. Waiting time at appts can be up to an hour. This is my first pregnancy and my experience with Dr Berryer and her staff have failed to meet my expectations.

I went in for a regular check up and possible minor bacterial infection. It took 3 weeks to get my results back from my pap smear (not that it was urgent, but it was the longest I've ever had to wait for results). The worst part is they sent me a prescription for my positively diagnosed bacterial infection almost 5 MONTHS AFTER MY APPOINTMENT. Thanks a lot ladies. I'm glad I didn't rot to death before I actually got some treatment from this office. And that's not even the end....I've been battling with a lab that is continuously asking for payments from me (instead of my insurance) because someone in Berryer's office sent it to a lab that is not covered by my insurance. I wouldn't trust this office for anything else again.especially when I choose an Obstetrician for future pregnancies. If I had all this trouble for just a regular pap smear and yeast infection, I can't imagine the possibilities of disaster when I trust this office with my babys health. Last but not least (at least for… me) was that the atmosphere in the office was impersonal, dry and even dirty looking. The secretaries were rude but Dr. Berryer was nice. She is the only one I cannot complain about. Regardless, I believe she fails at running a doctors office efficiently.

Great Doctor, I Have my 4 kids with her and she was great with all the deliveries. She is a caring and very professional doctor who really devoted time and efforts with me.
