I have been seeing Dr. Evellard for approximately 8 months. He listens very carefully and explains exactly what conditions I am going through, and has done a great job at nailing the right diagnosis. He is very good with determining the right medications to help my illness and makes adjustments as needed. I didn't come to Dr. Eveillard for talk therapy. I already have a therapist, and I knew my session with Eveillard wouldn't be as warm and fuzzy just because of the natural differences between therapy and psychiatry. However, I also didn't come to have quick, slippery slope assumptions made about me. I felt like words were being put into my mouth and like I was expected to agree with them because they were coming from a professional. If I stuttered due to nerves or struggled to find the right words to describe my symptoms, he jumped in and explained what was going on in my head for me. In one of these instances I tried to correct him and tell him that what he described wasn't quite right, but he brushed what I had to say aside because what I was feeling was part of a "defense mechanism" so I wouldn't really know what I was feeling anyway. He also randomly commented on my weight which seemed really out of place. He guessed I weighed 160 pounds. I told him he was wrong and that I… fluctuate between 135 and 140. He responded with "so you'll want to lose 5 pounds." What? Why? I had a physical a few weeks ago and my doctor saw no problem with my weight. I'm active and have a healthy diet, so I'm also not concerned about it. I left his office feeling overwhelmed, confused, and flustered. I had such mixed feelings about him because he had a lot of good ratings online and seemed nice, but something was just off. He spoke in a way that sounded kind, but the words were all wrong. It wasn't until I got home and had time to process what went down in that office that I realized what a poor experience I had and why I felt so uneasy.

Dr. Eveillard is a thoroughly knowledgeable, compassionate health professional. He takes his time with his appointments, listens well, and always has some true words of wisdom that leave me feeling inspired when I leave his office. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Eves Eveilliard is the consumate professional. He has years of experience and is very knowledgeable in the diagnosis process. He has seen my adult son for many months and has helped him greatly through guidance in dealing with an alcoholic disease and care for post rehabilitation. We feel this will be an on-going process for many years. Dr. Eveilliard is quick to point out concerns when my son requests medication that may not be necessary and the Dr. keeps very good records on patient progress, history and future concerns. My son has seen "care providers" for 10 years for addictions and alcohol abuse. Dr. Eveilliard has been the best mental health specialist my son has ever had, and he has had many in the past.

I began seeing Dr. Eveillard when my doctor retired. He is cautious when prescribing medication, which can be difficult at times, but is for my protection. The more I see him, the more I realize he cares about his patients and does not want a quick, easy drug fix. I have never had a set back or issue since I became his patient.

Doesn't remember you within 24 hours of seeing you. He said I had a refill remaining when I didn't, and when I called the next day, he told me I had to make an appointment to see him, when I was just there the day before. I told him I had to use PTO to come see him because his hours were so sparse and he told me that wasn't his problem.
