Dr. Yvette Vanessa Speight

Dr. Sleight is that rare surgeon that combines excellent skills with superb communication abilities and engaging personality.

I saw Dr. Speight today at Kaiser Urgent Care for a small injury to my finger after a manicure. She was courteous, personable, and articulate regarding all of my concerns. She did not rush which I believe is a concern especially in urgent care. I would recommend her to anyone. Laurie K Long Beach, CA

Dr. YVETTE VANESSA SPEIGHT MD removed a cyst from my back. She seems tried (she was close to the end of her 12 hr shift) and I was reluctant at first but went ahead with the procedure. She had to lance the cyst because it was open and oozing. Done this way a cyst is likely to return. The procedure went well and the cyst did not return. It has been two years now.She was caring and considerate of my needs and condition and answered all my questions in a professional way.

Some dorctors you come into contact with are compassionate and have empathy for their patients. Dr. Speight does not. I have the impression that she doesn't like people in general, and I wonder why she even became a doctor. I've never had such a negative response to any doctor as I had when I met her. She was irritable, unprofessional, didn't validate any of my concerns, but chose to contradict my statements instead of considering them. I hope she finds a new line of work soon so that she doesn't offend any one else as she did me.
