Dr. Courchesne is just the best! She is compassionate, good at listening and giving options for care. An expert in every way. I cannot think of having any other doctor as my primary care physician.

I had several issues I wanted to address. I did not feel we were able to get to all of them. As we age, most of us have more issues that need to be addressed. 15 minutes is not enough time to cover them sometimes. I would have liked a little more time to just talk about my arthritis, recent, surgeries. I think she wanted me to get bloodwork but I left not knowing what I needed done???

You go to the doctor vomiting blood, abdominal and back pain. Should they CT scan? Maybe an inexpensive ultra sound? Why would you do that? Is common sense asking too much? This “doctor” threw some pain pills at the patient for “muscle spasms”. It was Cancer that could have been caught with a lack of arrogance, a little bit of actual caring, and plain common sense. Still in pain, and upon returning again, the patient was told, “Well, if it wasn’t back pain then maybe you passed a kidney stone.” A simple in house, inexpensive ultra sound would have revealed the brewing culprit, and saved a life. My dog received better diagnostics at the vet clinic. Is this the kind of pathetic faux medicine we’ve settled for here in the Bitterroot? Run people. Run!

I have been seeing Dr. Courchesne for over 3 years for all of my general medical care. I always enjoy her friendly attitude and professional knowledge. She listens to me and does not make my visit feel rushed. She is a doctor who truly cares about her patients.

She is always kind, explains my health problems very well. and I feel well taken care of after visiting with her.
