Horrible miserable human being. Worst doctor I have ever been to in my life.

What a miserable human Dr. Hines is. I went here solely based on location to my house. For some issues I was having on my chest area. Upon my first visit she examined me from across the room. Never took a good look. I tried asking questions what could cause this and if there is anything I should be doing/avoiding. She told me "you would know better than me". So I guess i am the Dermatologist now. She seemed annoyed anytime I would ask questions and was just trying to get me out of there as quick as possible. She prescribed me an anti biotic, and 3 other things. A few days after starting the medicine it messed my stomach up and causing agonizing pain. I called and the women at the front desk told me to stop taking the medicine since i had a follow up scheduled the following week. I did and 5 days latter i started feeling "normal" again. I eat the same thing every day so these medicines she prescribed me are the only new things that where put in my body. I google searched the medicine… and saw constipation and stomach pain were possible side effects. Fast forward to my follow up yesterday. She asked how my chest was doing, I told her its starting to clear up but i had to stop taking the medicine. Instead of asking why, she just said "well you wont get better if you don't take it". I told her what it was doing to me. She told me I was wrong, that the medicine she prescribed doesn't do that. At that point I told her I do not think she was a good fit for me. She said ok, and walked out not once did she even look at my chest. I would not recommended this women to my worst enemy.

I wish I could give “doctor” Hines a zero. She was rude, hostile, sarcastic from the moment she entered the room ,and not only showed zero concern about my issues, but brushed them off. She does not do an examination the first visit, you pay for a consult??. Useless waste of time. She’s like a bad joke. I am in my 50’s and have never ever felt so violated (mentally) after a doctors visit. I tried to show her a spot that I was concerned about. She glanced at it, didn’t touch it or look at it through a special scope and sarcastically said “ why are SO concerned, are you worried about cancer? I replied “isn’t everyone”? She said I’ll look at it next time, a few more weeks won’t matter! That was only one vile comment. There were many more Please please do not put yourself through a visit with her. As a sidenote, I have never posted a negative review about ANYTHING. Her neglect and nastiness is not my opinion, it’s a fact. I might be dead had I not found a different dermatologist.

I'm not sure what kind of day the other reviewers were having or what their expectations are for medical professionals, but everyone at Dr. Hines' office was polite, efficient and knowledgeable. I checked in and was seen within 15 minutes of my appointment time. That's pretty standard for most Dr's offices. Dr. Hines listened to my concerns, did an exam and confirmed my suspicion. She took a scrape of the spot (painlessly), explained the next steps and I was on my way. She's clearly been practicing a long time, has an expansive knowledge of her field, and most likely extends the same courtesy her patients give her. Those calling her a witch doctor and commenting on the foreign doctors she works with should be ashamed of yourselves.

Dr Hines should not be allowed to practice. She is rude, inconsiderate and listens to nothing you say. She spent a total of 3 minutes with me and forgot 2 perscriptions I had a question about my medicine and she didn't even have the decency to come back in the room and explain what was perscribed and how to use it. She didn't even tell me what I had on my skin! Her medical assistant had no idea what medicine she even perscribed when I asked because I had concerns and questions all she responded with was "whatever she perscribed is for your issue" yeah that wasn't my concern it was side effects which I got no answer and shoved out the door. The oitments she gave me were way to strong for the area and when I told another dermotlogist what I was using they were disgusted to hear what she perscribed. All of her negative reviews are right and I should of listened and avoided this office. Don't ever go here. Also don't be surprised of overbilling. She really stuck it to my insurance and… left me with a bill they didn't cover for treatment she never even provided. I'm in dispute with this. Stay away from this hack she could careless about you all she wants is money.

Everyone that wrote a review on here really hit the nail on the head. I really wish I read up on this doctor before my appointment and wasting a co pay. She made me feel stupid- and was very rude. The room was also not cleaned from the patient prior to me- gross! Will not go back.

I regret not reading the reviews of her before making an appointment. For what it’s worth, this is the first review I’ve ever left regarding a physician. In addition to being rude and condescending, she lacks the knowledge of current research and best practices in her field. She didn’t ask any questions about my medical history or current diagnoses and was dismissive of my questions and concerns. I was not asked to fill out a release form for my medical records, standard in every doctor’s office from which I have received care. How can she really treat patient without knowing their medical history? The answer is, she doesn’t. She treats a condition, in the same way with every person regardless of whether or not is is the best treatment. With her, you are not an individual, you are a thing to fix. From the moment you step in the door, there are signs posted on all surfaces telling you what you can’t do in the space (eat, drink, touch a number of things, use a cellphone, etc.) and random… charges they will bill you (like $10 if you didn’t fill out a form correctly), these should have been the first sign that this is a hostile and unpleasant place. Stay clear!!

I found Dr. Hines to be professional, thorough and to the point. Her staff is the same. I think the directness of her and her staff could be misconstrued as abrupt. However, I found her to be very pleasant.
