Dr. Yvonne Marie Paris, MD

I never had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Paris and quite frankly I am glad I hadnt. My son has had severe health issues from about 4 months old and was referred to Mrs. Paris to get a heart echo. We had the appointment for over a month and the night before we are supposed to go in, her staff called my pediatrician to cancel the appointment because they stopped taking the health insurance we were on. Never called me once to verify the insurance or to reschedule. They contacted a second party to just flat out cancel a heart ultrasound. I called to try and figure the situation out but the staff had been less than helpful so me and his pediatrician scheduled with a new cardiologist which was another month away, during that time my son contracted another virus and was hospitalized for over a week. When we had met with our new cardiologist we had found that our son has vsd which is a whole in the heart and an abnormal valve and will be going to Boston for open heart surgery in about a week.… The sheer disrespect that I experienced with the staff alone was appalling, nevermind the fact that my son has something that is life threatening that could have been diagnosed much sooner than it was infuriates me. I hope to never cross paths or meet this person because I have absolutely nothing nice to say. I am so thankful for the team we have now.
