Dr. Yvrose Toussaint Valcourt, MD

Yvrose Valcourt, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician whose community-rooted approach to care was shaped in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti and refined through more than 20 years of service to diverse families. After graduating from the University of the State of Haiti and completing a year of community service in St. Raphael, she continued her U.S. medical journey—beginning as a Quality Manager at Lincoln Hospital and later completing pediatric residency—bringing cultural humility and practical problem-solving to every visit. Dr. Valcourt’s practice is informed by a deep desire to expand access to thoughtful, compassionate pediatric medicine for families with limited resources.A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Valcourt blends clinical expertise with community advocacy. She currently serves on a committee for AmeriHealth Caritas (supporting patients across South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, and Delaware) and maintains hospital affiliations with Wellstar, Aiken …Regional, and Colleton Medical Center. Fluent in English, French, Creole, and Spanish, she specializes in heritage-informed, multilingual family advocacy—helping parents feel informed, reassured, and supported as their children grow.
