Dr. Zachary Ernest Benson, MD

Dr. Zachary Benson specializes in oncology with additional training in internal medicine, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and blood disorders. He earned his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and completed his residency training at VCU Medical Center. With 11 years of clinical experience, Dr. Benson brings extensive knowledge to his practice treating patients with complex hematologic conditions.

Dr. Benson practices at multiple locations throughout Boise, Idaho, including St. Luke's Boise Medical Center and St. Luke's Hemophilia Center, as well as Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. He specializes in treating patients with acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes, which are serious blood cancers requiring specialized care. His expertise includes performing complete blood count testing and white blood cell differential analysis to help diagnose and monitor blood-related conditions.
