Dr. Zachary Bregman, MD

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE DOCTOR STAY AWAY. HOW THIS MAN IS ABLE TO PRACTICE MEDICINE IS ABSOLUTELY BEYOND ME. I called the office everyday and messaged them everyday for a week asking if this doctor was able to prescribe a medication for me or if I needed a specialist. (I have a medical condition that requires an expensive medication and I need to see doctors that cost a lot of money which I was trying to avoid). He purposely ignored everything I was asking and told me he needed to "see me first" before prescribing me any medication (he was never able to prescribe it in the first place, he was intentionally trying to mislead me so that I would come in). The second I come in he tells me that he is unable to prescribe the medication and that only a specialist can prescribe it. This man purposely did not tell me this because he wanted me to come in so that he could bill for a $350 appointment to tell me that he would need to connect me to a specialist. I made it EXTREMELY clear that if he… was not able to prescribe the medicine I had no interest in coming in, and he purposely would not tell me until I got there. When I began arguing and asking him why he wasted my time and couldn't have just told me no he got aggressive and said "Look, I don't know what you're doing here but--" and then I cut him off and cursed him out. You can tell just by having a one sentence exchange with this man that he is an absolute sociopath, how he is a doctor is absolutely disgusting. I notified my insurance, have all of the documentation (they tried to twist all of my words when I called the office but fortunately I have all of the proof). Insurance said they would do an investigation. ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS MAN AT ALL COSTS, I PROMISE YOU HE IS AN QUACK. HE JUST WANTS TO WASTE YOUR TIME SO THAT HE CAN GET YOU IN THERE AND MAKE MONEY OFF OF YOU. You can tell that he literally doesn't care if his patients live or die and after reading all of these comments it is very clear this man's license should be revoked.

Dr. Bregman is outstanding all the way around. He is knowledgable, caring and effective doctor. I can't say enough what a truly compassionate person he is. I was impressed with him and his entire team. Thank you, thank you!

Staff and nurse were good. He was very rude and disinterested. His "bedside manor" was awful. He made jokes about my family's medical history. Didn't seem to care about my responses or health at all. Forgot about me and only completed the physical because he thought his next patient was in my room. He was also incredibly rude to my girlfriend who had taken time off from work to go to the doctor with me. I would not go back to see him ever and would literally go out of my way to convince people not to see him. IT WAS THAT BAD!

I was spending a vacation with my daughter in New York when I fell ill and I was referred to Dr. Bregman. I was very happy to meet him. Not even my personal physician in my country has been as concern about my health as Dr. Bregman. He was very thorough and seemed genuinely interested in finding out what was wrong with me. He asked the right questions and ordered the right tests. When I moved back to New York he definitely will be my permanent physician. Thank you, Dr. Bregman.

Dr. Bregman is the BEST!

I have been a patient of Dr. Zachary Bregman for many years, and have referred clients and friends to him, as well as my own children. He is thoughtful, brilliant, and compasionate. I have never doubted for one moment that my health needs would not be met by this pulmonologist/internist and all around marvelous doctor and humanitarian.

An absolutely splendid doctor! An extraordinary intellect, yet as approachable and down-to-earth as you could want, this doctor excels in commitment, energy, curiosity, and compassion--along with an uncanny ability to figure out what to do next and with whom. He's a "mover and shaker" in the best sense. And the best Primary Care Physician I've ever had.

Plan on waiting a little while in the waiting room...After that, Dr Bregman will give you all the time you need. He is caring and knowledgable. Amzaing diagnostician and able to manage multiple conditions instead of sending you to a bunch of specialists. Have ongoing medical issues and havent felt this well in years. He even called from home when my blood tests came in because my meds needed adjusting. Freddie, the RN is a real gem. Dr Bregman is a real old school kind of doctor. Highly reccomend!

I was referred by a friend. All I can say is.. he's the MAN! One of the best doctors in NYC!!! Wish you the best Doc!!
