I was in great back pain from spinal stenosis and severely herniated disc. I had three previous ack surgeries which were successful. Two years ago I had similar event at higher level which was being treated conservitively but had acute event 2 months ago. I saw neurosurgeon who felt because of my age (82) surgery held high degree of complications. I thought this was dead end and became depressed. Dr. Fisk was calm, reassuring and positive. At his referral I had ablation procedure and am slowly but definitely improving. Medication for depression prescribed. At this time I have a more positive outlook on the rest of my life.
