Very Knowledgeable about nuerocognitive post traumatic brain injuries that involve the brain & is very thorough with each patient

This guy is forever late, pompous, arrogant and likes to try to talk over you. He is not concerned with his patients and as another reviewer stated, would rather prescribe drugs than treat the issue. On top of that...many of his staff members are extremely rude. Looking for a replacement now.

Each patient experience is different; there are a lot of things that come into play. The patient is responsible for managing their own care and make sure they are provided the services needed. My experience with Dr. Swartz and his staff, inpatient and outpatient care was excellent. He & his team come highly recommended.

At first Dr Swartz helped me but after a couple of visits I felt like he was more concerned with his blackberry than me. I was given the same medication for years and not enough to last the month. It took one week for the nurse return my call for an emergency. I am an educated individual with a Masters Degree, not a crazed patient who wants more meds. I needed relief from my pain that was not received. I felt like a number and was not interested in what the Dr. Does in his spare time.

prescribing for over two years highly addictive opiates for pain is not a responsible choice of treatment. Its rather a joke that methadone dependaencey is supposedly offered at this clinic when a Dr freely perscribes opiates over a two year period. Seems as though cures, or at least safer pain relief would be prescibed for ongoing pain!!

Dr. Swartz is very thorough and seemed to really care about me and my recovery. I don't understand the patient who said he was "rude." I did not have that experience AT ALL! He is not a particulary "warm and fuzzy" guy but I don't go for that kind of fake wamrth. He was direct and encouraged me to push myself to improve my function. And bottom line, he helped me walk again.

The man is rude, his staff is rude, his bedside manner is awful. Just because he has MD behind his name doesn't mean he's holier than thou. Other Dr's at the hospital, practicing longer, we're much better than he was. The man needs to take a course with Miss Manners, because he surely doesn't have any and neither does his staff. Looking to find another doctor.
