Dr. Zackery Shane Wood, DO

My husband went to Dr Wood when his dr closed his practice. My husband was on a moderate dose of OxyContin for pain mgmnt rxd by the old doctor and was worried about but open to getting off of them to reevaluate as he figured Dr. Wood would want to do judging from his website. At the appt Dr. Wood rushed him saying he had somewhere else to be, didn't listen well, cut him off and basically accused him of being a fiend looking for a fix. He said he would not rx it and referred him to pain mgmnt. That's fine, but pain mgmnt can't see him for another 3 wks and we are on wk 3 of cold turkey withdrawals and PAWS. Dr. Wood didn't care to ask how many pills he had left or offer any help with withdrawal or even warn about withdrawal symptoms. His staff simply said ok when he called to say he was running out of pills. When pressed they said go to er. Meanwhile my 2 year old and I are increasingly afraid of our daddy and husband due to anger resulting from PAWS, lack of sleep pain. HORRIBLE DR!
