Dr. Zafar A Khan

I’m writing this review to share our family’s deeply disappointing experience with Dr. Zafar Khan’s office. My elderly father recently transitioned to Dr. Khan as his new primary physician after his previous doctor retired. Unfortunately, from the start, we encountered a level of unprofessionalism and rudeness that I feel other families should be aware of. When my father was hospitalized unexpectedly, I followed their advice to preemptively schedule an appointment and was told I could cancel if needed. When my dad was readmitted to the hospital, I called multiple times to cancel and left voicemails. Despite this, the office never returned my calls. Instead, they later accused my elderly mother of being a "no-show" and were incredibly rude to her, despite our efforts to communicate. Most recently, we needed a simple form filled out by the doctor for home care services. The staff member I spoke with, Jennifer, was shockingly unprofessional and dismissive, claiming they couldn’t help… because my father hadn’t had enough recent visits. The tone and lack of empathy were appalling, especially given the health circumstances. What makes this situation even more baffling is that Dr. Khan himself had actually seen my father recently at the rehabilitation facility. Despite that, when I mentioned this, the staff member Jennifer dismissively called it a “coincidence” and said it didn’t count as a proper visit. To make matters worse, when I asked for an alternative solution—given that my father has been in the hospital for over two and a half months and we have no clear discharge date—she simply told me that we’d have to wait until he could schedule an appointment. This is completely unrealistic, as the PCA process for home care requires these forms well in advance and can take months to complete. The lack of empathy and willingness to find a workable solution is just beyond frustrating. Overall, this office has shown a serious lack of compassion and professionalism. I strongly caution other families, especially those with elderly or vulnerable members, to consider this experience before choosing Dr. Khan’s office.

My husband and I had been going here for several years, and at first everything seemed fine. Then, all of a sudden we stopped seeing Dr. Khan; it was always a different NP every time. They never seemed, to know anything and always getting things mixed up; on our patient charts. Demanded we come in for an appointment or no refills on our medications. The office staff is rude, and do not care about you, as a patient. BEWARE!!! This doctor all he cares about his money, not you the PATIENT and his staff is MONEY HUNGRY too!!!

long wait time - carless quick visit

Do not ever go to this office! Their focus is clearly the weight loss part of the office and they have no time at all for the family practice. I have had horrible experiences with Hilary and my last visit was the final straw!

Very rude staff, dr will blow off your concerns

This review is based on the staff and nurse practitioner, not Dr. Khan. I have yet to meet the doctor himself and seem to always have the nurse practitioner who tells me nothing is wrong with me. I CLEARLY have something in my throat and she is stating she didn't see it (this is the first of many aggravated appts.). I literally can see it just opening my mouth but supposedly nothing is there. BEYOND FUSTRATED!! Looking for a new family doctor now.

Dr. Khan is the WORST doctor I have EVER seen. I have been there for over a year. His NP is great, Deval Patel. But he is a nightmare. Accused me of wanting drugs when I asked him to look at my back and suggest exercises or vitamins. I suffer from chronic pain and don't take a thing for it. EVIL. Do NOT go to him

Staff at desk is excellent. Nurses very good. The doctor leaves a lot to be desired. Doesnt listen and rushes you out.
