Dr. Zahangir Khaled, MD

When asked for my grandson to be transferred to another hospital he said it could not be done. He would not approve it. Little did we know at the time that all parents have the authority to transfer their child whenever they want. A doctor can not tell you no. Wish they would have went ahead and transferred him because the next thing the baby's parents knew he turned them into DCFS. Now he has ruined their lives.

He has a very bad bedside manner. Thinks he is god and he is going to teach young parents a lesson as he is the expert on raising children. Run away from him before you have legal troubles.

Very honest and willing to answer all questions. My son LOVES him and cannot wait to go back!

He is not a nice person. very quick to judge a first time young mother and make her feel like a horrible parent.

Dr. Khaled has an excellent bed side manner. The office staff are experienced and compassionate.

Dr. Khaled answered our questions about our son, and provided sound advice on how to treat his GI problems using dietary options rather than invasive options. We appreciate Dr. Khaled's advice.

We have been very happy with Dr Khaled. Our little one had horrible reflux and he got it under control within a month. He also was supportive of my wanting to nurse. He made a huge difference for us and we liked the time he spent.

We saw Dr. Khaled in Galesburg. We did not have to wait long to get back. His staff was very nice & helpful, and he was very nice and good with our child as well. He took the time to answer all of our questions & concerns, and did not make us feel rushed at all. I can't really say how great of a doctor he is or not, as we have only seen him once & not had anything done, but our visit was a good experience.

To start with Dr. Khaled's staff, from the moment you walk in (I.e. Jennifer) to his Nurse (Carol) is unbelievably nice. You could not ask for a more professional team that cares about you, your schedule, your medication, your time. Dr. Khaled is extremely professional, very caring and has terrific bed side manner. Never once have I felt rushed or brushed off. All of our concerns were addressed and Dr. Khaled stayed in the room until every question was answered and we thoroughly understood his diagnosis, treatment plan and the reasons for his dx and treatment plan. If only all doctors had this excellent care, communication and bed side manner along with superb staff then going to the doctor would not be such a challenging thing. (I say all of this as a anxiety-panicked first time mother of a newborn preemie so trust me when I state that Dr. Khaled is the best of the best)

He is a kind, compassionate, great bedside manner kind of doctor. He really connects with my kids and they feel very comfortable with him as their doctor. He completely explains and wants to make sure you understand before you leave. His nurses are excellent too!!
