Dr. Zaheed Tai, DO

I’ve been seeing Dr Tai for many years. I’m alive today because the Grace of God provided for me a Dr. who cared and has cared for many years about my heart issues. I may be in his hall of fame for the amount of heart stents I have in place because of his expertise. He and his staff are extremely busy, but even then, I believe I get A+ medical care. And this is coming from a person who has a lot of heart issues, between 4 way by-pass 30 years ago at 39 years old, and many stents since then. He’s my hero. So anyone who says negative things about his office and staff. Might want to look at themselves in the mirror each day and say. Did I do my very best today. For the hours I worked today. I believe Dr Tai and all his staff can do that every day. They should be PROUD. I know I wouldn’t trust anyone else but CCVS.

If I could give Dr Tai, Dr Carrillo & their staff zero stars...I would. I originally went to see Dr Tai last year. I was so excited because after reading multiple reviews on multiple sites, I knew I made the right choice or so I thought. After my 1st visit I was still excited. Dr Tai said I should meet with his partner Dr Carillo to discus a procedure to help determine what was currently going on (I’ve had cardiac issues for 26 years but developed some new problems that I needed help with). When I met with Dr Carillo he decided against it. I don’t know what made him come to that decision but I spent the next 6 months begging this office for help that I never received. I can’t tell you how many times I called the office & had to leave a message. Each time I did this I would have to c/b multiple times because THEY NEVER RETURN CALLS...NEVER! I can’t tell you how many times I was admitted to WHH with no visit from Dr Tai or anyone else from their office even after the hospital & I both… called to tell them I was admitted. I can’t tell you how many times my pharmacy had to call to get a prescription refill - I’ve literally run out of prescriptions because they couldn’t bother responding to the pharmacy. Whenever I spoke to anyone in the office about them not getting back to me they always have the same excuse, we’re short staffed. How is a doctor’s office short staffed for 6 months???? When I requested to speak to the office manager I was told they didn’t have 1 on site & that they would have someone call me. Their “office manager” is 1 of the group’s partners. I had the pleasure (yes, I’m being sarcastic!!) ?? of speaking to Sockem who informed me that he was a lawyer & told me that I might be too high maintenance for their practice. Are you kidding me? I’m a cardiac patient, if my pharmacy calls in for a refill I expect it to be done...I shouldn’t have to call you 3x before you do it. If I call & ask for an appointment because I don’t feel well I don’t expect to leave a voicemail that never gets returned. I’m a cardiac patient, I'm not calling because I have a splinter!! This practice needs help! They either need to stop accepting new patients or hire more doctors. They need to hire more staff including an office manager who will be on site & has some respect when it comes to talking to patients. The last thing they need to do is LISTEN to their patients! If someone tells you something is wrong, something is wrong. I’m seeing a new cardiologist now who is running a bunch of tests. The minute I find out what’s wrong their partner/office manager better sharpen his lawyer skills because I will be suing the crap out of them!

A Very Caring Doctor that wants the best for his patients. Located in a practice with some of the best Cardiologist in Winter Haven, although they serve many other cities in the area.

Dr Tai is the tops in his field ! Trust in his skills and judgement! Very professional! Along with his staff!?kept me going for numerous reasons! Has always been there! Now my families trust has opened more he will be taking care of my bride! The only one in winter haven / Polk county we trust! Thank you!

anyone who gives dr tai a below avg rating better go back to where they came from. he is one of the best cardiovascular doctors in all of polk county. and his entire staff is fantastic. JS winter haven

A great doctor and staff. Felt that the doctor really took the time to understand what was going on with me and explain his thoughts. The office space isn't very nice though compared to some of the other doctors in the area. They need to spend some money to fix it up.
