Dr. Zaher Omar Merhi, MD

I cannot praise New Hope enough. I am currently my second trimester after a long journey of multiple failed attempts. I have transitioned to an obgyn for continued pregnancy care and I did not want to leave without sharing my thoughts and giving my thanks to the practice that helped us finally start our family. I had previously been going to a different infertility clinic and so I was really able to compare and see how great New Hope is as a practice. Firstly, they are extremely busy and that is a great thing. If you are going to have a doctor perform surgical procedures on you, you want to go to one who has a ton of experience. Despite how busy they are, they are also a well oiled machine. The waiting room is full, but wait times are not bad at all. (They have also been doing a great job at separating everyone and keeping things very safe during the covid pandemic). The techs that draw your blood and do your ultrasound are very knowledgeable and very good at what they do. You can… always request to see a doctor at any visit, but oftentimes you don’t even need to because the ultrasound tech or PA will give you such complete information. Your results are always reviewed by a physician in a timely manner, and their physicians have a great bedside manner. I’ve been working with Dr. Merhi, and he will forever be one of my favorite people. He is positive and encouraging and fully attentive to your personal story. You need to see a specialist who makes you feel heard and who will not give up on you and I always felt in good hands with Dr. Merhi. I have also met a lot of the other physicians and you can see how knowledgeable and caring they all are. This is really a practice that promotes hope, and that is something so important for women who are struggling and thinking they may have to give up. If your doctor believes in you, then you can believe in yourself and know that it may be a long journey, but it WILL happen and your doctor will help you all along the way. I also think they have a great lab. Every frozen embryo they thawed for me implanted right away. Unfortunately I had an abnormality with my uterus which wasn’t discovered at my previous infertility clinic, so the pregnancies ended early until Dr. Merhi discovered and completely fixed my issue. With my repaired uterus and with their ability to take care of the little embryos so well in their lab, I am now with a completely healthy pregnancy and so excited to meet our little one. My husband and I will never be able to thank Dr. Merhi enough. We hope that this review will be helpful for those who are looking for a place that will help them with their family goals. We are finally where we wanted to be for so long all thanks to Dr. Merhi and the wonderful New Hope team.

I am 38 years old struggling with infertility due to Low Ovarian Reserve... After doing 12 IVF cycles in Long Island clinics (trust me they all use the same protocol!!!), I found New Hope Fertility in Jericho Long Island which was unique and exceptional!!! When I was devastated because every fertility clinic had told me that I will never get pregnant with my own eggs at age 43, Dr Merhi gave me hope by offering me the experimental PRP OVARIAN REJUVENATION...
