Dr. Zahid Parvez Shaikh, MD

Dr. Zahid Shaikh is a neurologist who brings over two decades of expertise to the diagnosis and treatment of complex neurological conditions. He earned his medical degree from Baqai Medical College and completed his residency training at Staten Island University Hospital. With 26 years of experience in neurology, Dr. Shaikh has developed extensive knowledge in managing stroke-related conditions and neurological disorders. He provides care to patients in English.

Dr. Shaikh practices at University of Vermont Medical Center and maintains locations in Toledo, Ohio and Rochester, New York. His clinical expertise focuses on treating stroke symptoms and managing cerebrovascular accidents. He works with patients experiencing ischemic strokes and helps them recognize BE FAST stroke warning signs.
