ARROGANT AND RUDE!!!!

Dr. Rashid is very competent. He has a wonderful bedside manner. I had a torn aorta in nov. Of 2010. I Survived it thanks first to my God then dear Dr. Rashid. I'm very grateful to him and his well qualified team. Not a thing negative about him in my opinion.

A talented surgeon, but a terrible human being. Dr. Rashid cannot or will not communicate with other physicians, nursing staff, patients and family of critically ill patients which in our case caused a multitude of unneccessary complications to a successful surgery.

Dr. Rashid made promises he could not keep (such as stating our loved one would not die from the surgery he was performing) and then he shocked our loved one over 60 times in the last hour of his life even though he had a living will/POA papers that stated he did not want to be shocked more than a few times. After his death, it took begging to get Dr. Rashid to return a phone call to answer some questions. This experience was no good. Since then a family friend had an operation that was likely unnecessary with this doctor, and he is not yet returning her calls to answer questions. Our experiences have not been good so be cautious when making your decision about this doctor.
