Dr. Cook began practicing dentistry in 1988 after graduating from the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Cook practiced dentistry as an associate in South Carolina for two years before moving to the Houston area.
In 1992, Dr. Cook opened her practice in Richmond, Texas. It started out in a very small office space equipped with 2 treatment rooms and 1 employee. Five years later Dr. Cook moved across the street her current state-of-the-art office.
Dr. Cook's dental education did not stop when she graduated from dental school. Every year, she continuously updates and expands her knowledge and skill-set. In 2011 Dr. Cook received 3 fellowship distinctions from the Acadamy of General Dentistry, Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Cook also invests heavily in the latest technology which helps her deliver high quality dentistry with optimal patient …comfort.
Dr. Cook believes a well informed and educated patient can and will make decisions about their oral health that they will feel both comfortable with and not later regret. We have an extensive collection of patient educational resources including videos, models, along with digital photography to help you understand exactly what can be done and what can be realistically expected.
