Dr. Zaid Abed Al-Kariem A Al-Qudah, MD

Broke the ADA law by denying my service dog. Staff extremely rude and unprofessional. Staff wore a hate symbol against autism. Don’t recommend anyone going to him or anyone in his office especially if you have any sort of disability.

This Dr. is always running behind. If you are lucky enough to be taken back to a room by a nurse near your appointment time, plan on waiting approximately an hour to an hour and forty five minutes more. This has happened to me on several visits. This Dr. said he would do telehealth visits during the pandemic. I was set up for a telehealth phone call from him. I stayed home and kept my cordless with me on two different days. The first day he didn't call. There were no phone calls from Associated Specialists during the time frame of him calling anytime after 5 PM. This was the time I was given by one of the receptionists named Christina who usually answers the phone when you call the number to Associated Specialists to make an appointment or pay your bill. I had to call in and tell her he did not call. No one bothered calling me to tell me he wasn't calling. The second telehealth appointment, again, I kept the cordless with me all day because he was supposed to call anytime… after 1 PM. Our phone did not ring again. We have a landline phone through Frontier Communications. We have no problems getting anyone else's phone calls. I have other Dr's who are with WVU Healthcare who call exactly on time at a specific time within 5 minutes and I have no problems getting their phone calls. Not all of us are Healthcare workers. I haven't gotten the chance to get a COVID vaccine yet. I am on a waiting list. This Dr. says he tried calling my number several times according to Christina and now he refuses to do anymore telehealth appointments with me. I kept my phone with me both days, all day, until bedtime. Since his in person appointments have never been on time for me, I didn't expect his telehealth appointment to be on time either so I kept my landline cordless phone with me all day both days. So this Dr. values his payments more than his patients time and lives. He is probably vaccinated for COVID since most Healthcare workers were vaccinated first. I am not vaccinated yet, I am on our county health department waiting list. I would rather take my chances with seizures and find a new neurologist who can be on time and call. Also, these Dr.s or this Dr. does not accept WVU cares charity. They say they are private and that they do not have to accept the charity offered and approved by WVU hospitals even though their office is in a building attached to UHC which is owned by WVU. This Dr. puts profit and mismanaged time above the quality of care for his patients, affordability, and would rather you risk catching COVID than call you at home.

I saw Dr. Al-Qudah after a year of seeing othe neurologists and no diagnosis. I saw Dr. Al-Qudah one time and he felt that I had this disorder. To which after a pet scan confrimed his thought about it he was correct. Dr Al-Qudah is a very intelligent dr and thanks,yah wonderful goes out to him

Every time I leave a message for Dr Al-Qudah I never hear back from him, even after several calls. Several of my coworkers have complained about call backs also. Not sure if it’s with his staff or him but it’s extremely bad service!

He didn't know who my mother was, was unaware of tests he had already order and spoke to her about, was unaware he did not give her any medication at her last appoint, and did not seem to even want to spend time speaking with her about her very recent diagnosis. He gave her a prescription without telling her what the medication was or what it was for. She asked to know more about her diagnosis and he told her they would discuss it in two weeks, which is the exact same thing he told her at her last appt.

Dr AlQudah's training at a top 5 hospital shows in his work and is matched with his caring. My experience is that he's is more thorough and more accurate than many others in large hospital centers. WV is fortunate to have him. Note there are reviews his partner, Adnan L Alghadban, mixed in with his. They are two different people who share an office.

Love Dr. Al-Qudah he is a great doc but his staff sucks!

Started see Dr A on 3-8-18 after 2MRI's, 2 CT scans, he scheduled Lymph node biopsy, Spinal Tap,and ENT visit . I was having stroke like symptoms, fingers spread open, speech impaired because of swollen tongue, constant headache coming around right side of neck where lymph node was swollen. The only thing better at this time are fingers. He can't seem to give a diagnosis and suggested we go to Cleveland Clinic. I can understand this happens what I can't seem to let go is his office staff. The worst i've ever seen. When you call in they immediately say they will send a note back to the nurse and you never hear back from them. Someone was suppose to get an approval from the Ins. Co. for a very expensive blood test and give them a code for the procedure. The Dr said he did this, when I checked they said he hadn't called. When I called back to ask them about this, after just leaving the Dr's office, guess what they said. "I'll send a message to the nurse." I will no longer be seeing… Dr Zaid Al-Qudah after close to $1,000,000 later I am still suffering. Even if the Dr could help you, the staff will try your nerves, and the constant need to keep you coming back over and over again, when a phone call would do. I think a serious look at the procedures in that office would be a good thing.
