Dr. Zamip Patel

I can't say enough about Dr. Zamip Patel. He has been my Urologist for 8 years. He is always there for me. If you don't understand he will do whatever he can so you can. He did my Urolift 8 years ago and I'm still doing great

My 77 year old mother had a simple 15 minute procedure. But it turned to disaster. She was sent home without a foley and was in excruciating pain. When she called the office they told her it was normal pain and to take her meds. She knew it was far beyond taking pain meds and 2 days of calling back and forth she finally went in. They remove so much Urine from her bladder and she felt 90 percent better. They told her she had to go in for another procedure which involved a cystoscopy and I guess fixing what they did because obviously she wasn’t able to relieve herself on her own. This time, They sent her home with a catheter and today she was to go back and have it removed. The office said she was to keep it for another week. My mother had the paperwork which indicated she was to come in TODAY and not the following week they tried to contact the doctor who had disappeared and couldn’t be reached until way over an hour later. He told the office that my mom was due to have… the catheter removed today. But they didn’t remove it !!!!!! there is no communication!!! They didn’t take the proper care and now my mother is still wearing a Foley catheter and cannot return to work yet. This had been going on for about 3 weeks and two procedures later !!!!!!!! I work for Northwell health systems in NYC as a surgical nurse and i have never sent a patient home without the proper information and in such distress. This office is not a professional establishment and I consider it a toxic environment. They will hear more from us !!!!!

I waiting month to book an appointment. at 1:45pm on a Friday, they called. I was working so they left a message. My appointment had previously been rescheduled and now they told me it was cancelled. The office closes at 2:00pm on Friday. I could not check my voicemail until 2:30p. This is inappropriate and unacceptable. I would not recommend Zamip or East Orlando Urology to anyone.

Dr is great but staff is EXTREMLY lacking and rude. I as a patient do not need to sit and listen to your office drama at the loud volume. Learn to act like professionals.

On hold for hours and given the run around for a simple prescription refill. I'm on my third day of trying to get this refilled. Multiple disconnections, and the ladies pick up, and put me back on an infinite hold. I'm embarrassed for him.

The doctor is nice, but the office staff is slow and rude and have no respect for your time, patients and their families. My father was scheduled for a procedure for over a month; a day before surgery it was canceled due to insufficient office permits. This makes me not trust them. Do not waste your time on this office.

Dr. Patel is one of the most informed doctors I have came in contact with throughout the years. I am extremely satisfied with the care I have been receiving.

Dr. Patel is a wonderful doctor. I was having difficulty with multiple issues, and had been told by another Urologist that I would have to undergo multiple operations to fix the problem. Dr. Patel put me on a (much less expensive) regimen of medications and rehabilitation. I am doing great now! He truly cares about the patients he sees.

Tried to get me to get an expensive surgery. Got a second opinion from another doctor and was cured in about a month with medications. This guy just wants to line his pockets, doesn't care about the patient (no integrity).

This facility has no respect for patient's time. Expect to wait even when they tell you the doctor is on time. Over an hour and a half wait is not acceptable. Especially when it happens at every visit.
