Zane W.m. Dean, MD, FACC

Dr. Zane Dean specializes in cardiovascular disease, focusing on heart and blood vessel conditions. He earned his medical degree from Osmania Medical College at the University of Health Sciences in Hyderabad, India, and completed his residency training at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in cardiovascular diseases, the University of Illinois College of Medicine in internal medicine, and Baylor College of Medicine for his transitional year. With 31 years of clinical experience, Dr. Dean is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds fellowship credentials from the American College of Cardiology (FACC). He provides care in English.

Dr. Dean practices at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital and sees patients at Lima Memorial Health System Heart & Vascular Institute in Lima, Ohio, as well as Lima Memorial Health System Specialty Care in Van Wert, Ohio. His expertise includes treating coronary artery disease and addressing …heart conditions specific to women. He also specializes in managing myocardial ischemia, a condition where the heart muscle doesn't receive enough blood flow. Dr. Dean performs diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms to monitor heart rhythm, contrast echocardiography for detailed heart imaging, and transthoracic echocardiograms to evaluate heart function.
