Dr. Zarah Bautista Fernandez, MD

Wasn't quite engaged during my office visits and missed things. For example: 1. One time did not show up to an appointment or even call to reschedule. 2. Did not recommend shingles vaccine even though I'm over 50. I only knew I needed one because my twin sister's doctor had told her about the shingles vaccine . 3. Did not tell me I needed 2 doses of the vaccine or even schedule the 2nd dose. I almost missed the window to get it. 4. Did not tell me my labwork showed my cholesterol level was dangerously high. I only found out when I finally started seeing a new primary care physician. My new dr gave me a new blood test, but also looked at the old test that Dr F had ordered a couple of years earlier. The old test cholesterol was in the dangerously high range!

I like Dr. Fernandez. She takes her time with you & you don't feel at all rushed. The problem I have is with her staff. I have called the office several times, at minimum a half dozen, to ask a question & always had to leave a message with her assistant & have not received a call back from them one time! I think our health is very important & I feel it should be to them too considering that's the business they are in. It makes me question how much I can rely & trust in the Dr. if her staff isn't held responsible to do their job.

Dr. Fernandez is great but her front desk staff and other staff is so rude they should not be working in a doctors office if they don't love there job the doctor should really have the staff go to training to learn how to be patient with her patient they really need people skills

Loved her. She took time to explain everything to me no rushing and made sure to acknowledge everything I had questions on.
