Stay Away this place is a fraud.Had to go to a real dermatologist. Zena you could not do the simplest procedure.You are incompetent and a disgrace to real dermatologist.Made an appointment for skin screening to get a mole removal at this location, not my first, second, nor my third choice because of the neighborhood and the only location that would give me an appointment the next day. This was too good to be true and they assigned me zena gabriel the only one that was available. Arrive at the location 20 minutes early to fill out the paper work and waited 1hr 45min before my name was called. I met with zena for a consultation = $135. Ask zena could she do a shave excision to remove a small mole that had increase in size, but still a small mole from being in the sun to long. She told me that the sun dont cause a mole to increase in sizes. 1st FLAG I look past her answer because she said she could do the shave excision and do it now. Too good to be true. 2nd FLAGBefore the cutting… started, she asked me about it may leave a scar and I told her a shave excision not an elliptical excision and an indention is ok as long as you remove the mole. I saw confusing in her face, so I ask her do this location cut out the mole and close both ends together, she said no and I told her thats an elliptical excision and that procedure leave scars. 3rd 4th FLAG Zena way procedure: She started cutting against the grain toward my eye with no protection on my eye. The cut size of the area is twice the size of the mole with a deep wound that was cause by cutting against the grain way before the start of the mole. Zena said to come back in 30 days for the follow-up. Went back for the follow-up and the RN comes in to observe that she left a deep wound before the area of the mole and didnt remove all of remaining mole. Zena came in to look and said she can correct it by closing it, but the RN shook her head and the other dermatologist said no not after 30 days. They sent me in to talk to the Rep. (Damage control) to tell me that they dont do that type of procedure and zena made an error by saying she can close it up. I told the Rep I ask for a simple shave excision something that I had an appointment for and that your office said you could do and not an elliptical excision, because zena already told me that she didnt know how and that this procedure is not done at this location. 5th 6th and 7th FLAG The RN came in to do the correction I thought with a shave excision, but no she started chopping all over the mole area with no sense of guide. The area looks worst than before I ever came to this place. This is more than incompetent this is negligent and this nightmare cost me $410. 8th 9th and 10th FLAG. 10 FLAGS = CluelessA dermatologist procedure: A shave excision is a relatively simple procedure and also does not require a great deal of time to perform.
