Dr. Zhengyu Hu, MD

Been going to him for a couple years through workmans comp. He doesn't care about you at all. He just tells you what he is going to do and doesn't listen to your input at all. He treats me like a drug addict when i ask for better pain meds. He is in such a hurry to get you in and out. He drags his feet when dealing with other treatment from other hospitals. When i told him i was in terrible pain and could barely walk his reply was "i don't know what else to tell you". Avoid this doctor.

I have been in pain for over 10 years and have seen to other pain management Drs., but none of them have helped me as much as Dr. Zhengyu Hu has. He tries to make you comfortable with out throwing medicine after medicine at you! I would highly recommend Dr Hu!!

He comes in with what he wants to do. You are not allowed any input or to ask any questions. He makes rude comments and interrupts you. No empathy at all, when asked how his course of treatment will effect other medical conditions you gave his response is “I don’t care”. A good doctor also will take time to at least explain things when asked. No social skills at all, doesn’t seem to realize a question is arguing.

I'd end up seeing Dr. Hu, after an injury that at work, he works for Broadspire, the insurance of workers compensation. He does not care about you as a patient, all he wants and care for is to get paid, he will schedule 2 appointments or more at the same time, in the middle of the appointment he will leave the room with no reason or warning to go the next room and treat other patient. he will come back and continue with the appointment, it's so frustrated, because his attention is not focus in you or the other patient, he will not help you at all with any documentation or paperwork. Do not waste you time and look for another doctor that is willing to dedicated is attention to you.

I have a piece of hardware in my leg which messes my foot and back up horribly. Dr Hu has been fantastic in figuring out the best treatments for me.

I won’t recommend this doctor.

I went to see Dr. Z Hu in Topeka. His receptionist was stone cold. And, when I tried to get pricing on the procedure, the billing department would not cooperate and were extremely rude. I even had my insurance company try to get the pricing and they could not. As a result, I will not be getting the procedure done. Why should I if they can't tell me how much? Ridiculous!

Worked hard to get rid of my pain with more than just pills.
