Dr Liu is an incredible physician. I have been seeing him since 2006 & he has kept me healthy. Friendly, warm & professional. Not to mention he is brilliant

I love working with Dr. Lui he has helped me so much and I will continue working with him. He has a great outlook and in my eyes seems to understand the struggles we deal with. I would recommend him to anyone.

The positive review is most likely concocted by liu himself. I too was done in by liu, with the test radioactive iodine uptake test he randomly ordered for me. I was put in charge of an intern there at uva, and liu simply rushes into the room and asks the interns to order a bunch of tests and rushes out. Liu never sat me down and explained what the tests were. The radioactive test permanently damaged me. I would suggest u never take the test if u want to live long. Liu is completely unqualified to be a doctor.

I met with Dr. Lui for thyroid problems, I agreed with his diagnosis. He answered all my questions and concerns and set me up for surgery, he told me he would call me back the next day and he did follow up and he called me back as he had promised.(Hard to believe a Dr. would call himself) but he did. I am looking forward to working with Dr. Lui in the future. I felt that his knowledge of my parathyroid condition was an accurate diagnosis. He also found a surgeon which I felt was very qualified and had the knowledge to operate on my thyroid. I did not have over a 5 min. wait in Dr. waiting room, when taken back I had a 8 minute wait before I saw the Dr. I am well pleased with my visit to Dr. Lui.

Zhengqi Liu is a horrible doctor. He also gave me the Radioactive Iodine test and completely altered my life. I concurred with the other reviews. I would suggest that you avoid this man masked as a doctor. He really does not know what he is doing. He does not listen and comes in and leave quickly. He should be fired. And for whatever reason they suggest, never do the radioactive Iodine Uptake test. It will make you ill for the rest of you life.

Most careless, and unprofessional is this man Zhenqi Liu. I went for a problem which had nothing to do with with cancer, and then he just conjured up the idea and subjected me to a radioactive Iodine uptake test as well. My experience is similar to the previous comments on him. The test did incredible damage to my whole system, and it also impaired my thyroid, which was functioning fine before. Man does not listen to anyone. All he could say was the test was harmless. He spent such little time with me. He should be fired. I dont know how he is in charge of other internists at at the place. I would suggest avoiding this place and the test as well, if you want to live a normal life. Mine has never been the same since the test.
